workout 54 - 55

- workout 54 was with Ahmad yesterday. We did an hour. I was trying to play golf. but the weather was horrible

- workout 55 was the same kind of deal. Wanted to play golf again today. but it was raining.


and my blog posts are lame because I feel like Im quitting at any day. Atleast with the streak. but as long as I keep going, I might as well document it. Im 55 workouts in. maybe some golf tomorrow.

also, I get a lot of emails about the supplement I have been taking. Carlos has been as well.

I take one in the morning. and then I drink a lot of water. and because of it, I have cut out the need for all energy drinks. It really does give me a lot of energy. And its used mostly as an appetite suppressant. But to use it as that, you take 2 in the morning (like Carlos does). He has lost 9 or 10 lbs in the last few weeks.

I played tennis for 90 minutes today. and Im counting that as a workout. decent cardio. decent sweat. and got a little sun...

still plugging away. I almost dont want to stop. but Id really like to play golf soon

workout 51.

did it again today. just to kill one more

did the Total Conditioning class at Lifetime South. Regardless of how good of shape you are in or your athletic prowess, this class will push you, yet not make you feel uncomfortable/out of place.

51 workouts in.

I may actually play golf tomorrow instead of workout out.

- I ran 3 miles today. cant wait for this to be over.

47 - 48

-People have asked why Im going to 50, when obviously the top of this page says 45 workouts in 45 days. For about 3 days, I had strep. and even though I did SOMETHING. I dont feel comfortable in counting those light days as full workouts. So I decided to go ahead and hit 50.

- Im going to write an essay type recap in a couple of days. because I have learned a lot from this. Mostly about eating. and that you can workout 101010201010 days in a row, and if you dont eat right.... you are never going to get to that next level of looking good.

- I am so close to being done with this challenge. Ill post my last 2 workouts really quick.


workout 47

We did push ups with bands. So atleast it looks like a normal push up

but then it ended with a back exercise. which was really difficult

did some ball sqauts that were also curls and also were shoulders... as seen here

threw some curls. and some hammer curls in afterward

wrapped up with 3 sets of 3 minutes of jump rope. and believe or not, thats pretty tough. we'll usually do 1 minute sets. and maybe Im just not a good jump roper. but 3 minutes is a killer.



Workout 48

- I went to an 8am Total Condition class. These classes are the toughest of all the classes. and I didnt like going right after I woke up.

- They could have called the class 75 minutes of lunges. noone would have argued.

- it was nice being finished with my workout by 11.



49 and 50. coming up. then I can play a little golf again

workout 46

- went to the big gym today. did the cardio kickboxing class. ive done it many times and didnt expect anything to be different. However, this week I think we had a real life ninja taking the class with us.

anytime we'd do any sort of exercise, he'd add some crazy kick or a series of punches. It was retarded. at first, it was slightly funny. I wasnt sure if he was kidding. He wasnt

He was a lot like that person thats doing the group dance (electric slide, cupid shuffle, etc) and is adding all the extra moves to show off. annoying.

I think he may have been trying to impress the instructor. she is pretty hot. any if she has a thing for ninjas... he is in

workout 45

had I not had strep throat... Id be eating cake right now.

celebrating 45 days in a row. but in just 5 days, Ill complete 50 days in a row.

- finished up with a little boxing and a little jump rope. solid day today.

- I wish I hadnt ate like crap in Miami all weekend. I gorged myself with crap and I feel it. A minor set back.

- my shoulder is finally feeling better. I didnt feel it at all today. First time in weeks that I havent felt injured.

- my buddy told me that I need to eat "local" honey to repair my allergies. anyone else ever heard of this? I like honey. so ill try it anyway.

42-43-44

- workout 42 was tough. It was superbowl sunday. We were in Miami, and as soon as we woke up....we were heading to the golf course. then back to the hotel. shower. and off to the super bowl. by the way, most fun weekend ever. My buddy Dillon went out to party that night. I stayed in and did a workout in my room. I did 250 push ups and 250 sit ups. Nothing crazy, but it was a workout.

- workout 43 was last night. After I got in from Miami, I grabbed the dumbbells and did curls, triceps, and shoulders. For about 30 minutes. Nothing crazy. But I didnt get in until 8p

- workout 44 was at the gym today. i did the total cardio class. It was solid. The music wasnt as good today (different person leading the class), and I didnt feel it was as hard as the last couple of times... but still really good. I took an intern with me. She thought it was brutal as well...

I have this list of all the celebs we met or hung out with over the weekend. crazy. I should be a little more used to it considering my job. But, i was geeking out. so much so I created a list.

workout 40 and 41

- I did worry that I would get to Miami and not have time to workout. Therefore not fulfilling my 45 days (now 50 days) in a row workout obligation. Luckily the people Im with in Miami wanted to workout as well.

- the last 2 days....

I ran a few miles each day.
did some push ups and sit ups (i wanted to do them in the water like Rocky did)
and then just played in the water.

workout 38

- Im sore as crap. Pretty much that 75 minute class is 30 minutes of hard work. and 45 minutes of survival. Everything hurts.

- Today, we rubbed out the bad shoulder for a while. Did a 15 minute stretch on the legs. and 45 minutes of legs and abs today.

- Since Im going to 50 straight workouts, Only 12 to go. Thats pretty exciting to finally get a day off.

- I went to a total conditioning class today Lifetime South. It was almost over capacity. I wrecked it and really felt great about it. it was my first real cardio test since my illness. and afterward I was in a good mood because of it.

- Im going to Miami for the Superbowl. Should I get a spray tan?! Im thinking, yes. and probably a chest shave too. I mean its already summer down there.

- Cooking some pork chops, broccoli and baking a sweet potato

finally feeling back to normal

- today is the first day that Ive felt 100% not sick. and it feels awesome. I was actually excited to workout today. Other than my cracked shoulder, it was a solid workout. and I needed it.

We did all legs today. as you can see below

also did 15 minutes of jump rope. which was pretty brutal after 45 minutes of leg work. Did 1 minute speed rope. into one minute double jumps.
